What do you wear when the temperatures are hot or on holiday at home to relax in? I’m always referring to the beloved kaftans that I like to wear around the house (think Margo from the program The Good Life, but with an Essex accent!) This Maxi dress from Evatrends fits the bill nicely
Evatrends has had a massive explosion in the blogosphere of late, lots of my weekly reads have been showing off their favorites from the Evatrends brand. I spotted this and thought hey, perfect for relaxing later in the day on holiday and then I will wear at home.
Sunbathing around the poolside was one of my favorite relaxing times of the holiday. We had a couple of cloudy, windy days, but on this day it had been so hot! The pool was closed off at seven, so a quick shower and slipping into this was perfect for my body that still felt hot from the sun.
I wear kaftans a lot in the summer months at home to relax in. No restriction and light to wear with nothing on underneath! This could be worn with a belt, but I have chosen to let it flow…
We took advantage of the poolside to take these photos. Just imagine 500 rooms with the inhabitants looking over their balconies wondering what on earth I was getting up too!
I’m sucking up that breeze! It was 26 degrees on this day, doesn’t sound like much but boy, when you’re just laying in it and not a whisper of a breeze, it was hot! I thought I was going to combust at some points!
